ALAN - Artificial Light at Night

1st International Conference on Artificial Light at Night


The Verlust der Nacht collaboration and the International Dark Sky Association are pleased

to announce the first interdisciplinary conference on Artificial Light at Night.

The conference program will consist of 12 plenary talks, contributed talks in parallel sessions, and a poster session.

Call for Posters

Our call for talks has been closed on March 18, 2013. However, we are still happy to receive abstracts for posters that address new or recent advances.

Abstracts should be emailed to alan2013@wew.fu-berlin.de,

and should follow these requirements:
• State title, authors and institutional affiliations, intended presenter, and the contact email of the main author
• State for which of the five major topics your abstract is submitted (see list below)
• Consist of a main text of up to 2500 characters in length
• Abstract should be submitted as Word-document (DOC or DOCX) or Plain Text (TXT)
