„Verlust der Nacht“ is reaching as far as Argentina as this recently published article in the Buenos Aires Harald on the 8th of April 2012 shows:

Prof. Dr. Dietrich Henckel, Benjamin Könecke and Merle Pottharst from TP05: Die Kosten des Verlusts der Nacht  are "aware of both the positive and detrimental effects of artificial lighting [and] embarked on devising a “preliminary taxonomy” of its economics and social fallouts.”
